What is Automate Simple?

Automate Simple connects your favourite apps and services so they can talk to each other automatically — without you having to do anything manually.

For example: when a new order arrives in your Shopify store, Automate Simple can automatically send a message to your Slack team. Or when someone fills in a Google Form, Automate Simple can add their details to a Google Sheet and send them a confirmation email.

You set it up once, and it runs in the background every time something happens.

The verification email usually arrives within a minute. If you don't see it, check your spam folder. The link expires after 24 hours.

Your Request Balance

Your request balance is the number of flow executions you have available. Every time one of your flows runs, 1 request is used up.

You can see your current balance at the top of your Dashboard and on the Billing page.

Requests never expire — your balance carries over indefinitely. There is no monthly reset.

Adding Requests

When you need more requests, go to Billing and choose how many you want to add. You can pick a preset package or type in a custom amount.

After choosing your amount, select either Stripe or Airwallex to complete payment. You'll be taken to their secure checkout page. Once payment is confirmed, requests are added to your balance immediately.

What is a Flow?

A flow is an automatic connection between two services. It has two parts:

When the trigger fires, the action runs automatically and 1 request is deducted from your balance.

Create a Flow

1
Go to My FlowsFrom your dashboard, click My Flows, then + New Flow.
2
Give your flow a nameSomething descriptive, like "New Shopify order → Slack notification".
3
Pick a Trigger serviceChoose which app starts the flow — for example, Shopify. Then choose the specific event, like "New order".
4
Pick an Action serviceChoose what happens next — for example, Slack. Then choose the event, like "Send channel message".
5
Add connection detailsClick 🔑 Connection Settings under each service to enter your API key or token. See the section below for guidance.
6
Save the flowClick Create Flow. Your flow is now active and a webhook URL is generated for it automatically.
You can also click a service in the left-hand connector list to quickly fill in the trigger or action — the first click sets the trigger, the second click sets the action.

Connect a Service

Most services require you to provide an API key or token so Automate Simple can act on your behalf. These are entered in the 🔑 Connection Settings section inside the flow editor.

You only need to enter your credentials once per service. Automate Simple saves them and reuses them across all your flows. A green Saved badge appears once credentials are stored.

Where do I find my API key?

Every service is different, but here are the most common places to look:

For any other service, search for "service name API key" in their official documentation — it's usually under Settings → Developer, API, or Integrations.

Keep your API keys private. Never share them publicly. If you think a key has been compromised, revoke it in the service's dashboard and enter a new one in Automate Simple.

Manage Your Flows

From the My Flows page you can:

The Runs column shows how many times each flow has executed.

How Billing Works

Automate Simple uses a simple prepaid model. You add a balance of requests to your account and each flow execution uses one request. There are no monthly fees, no subscriptions, and no automatic charges.

Payment Methods

We accept payment via two providers:

All payments are processed in Euro (EUR). Your card provider handles any currency conversion if your card is in a different currency. We do not store your card details — all payment processing happens on Stripe's or Airwallex's secure servers.

Transaction History

Every top-up and every flow run is recorded in your Billing page under Transaction History. Each entry shows the date, type (top-up or flow run), and the number of requests added or used.

Refunds

If you've topped up and haven't used any requests, you can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase by contacting us.

If some requests have been used, a partial refund for the unused portion may be issued at our discretion.

Requests that have already been used by flow executions are non-refundable.

See the full policy on our Pricing page.

Common Questions

My flow isn't running — what's wrong?

Check these things first:

I didn't receive my verification email

Check your spam or junk folder. If it's not there, wait a few minutes and try registering again — the new link will replace the old one. Make sure you're checking the correct email inbox.

Can I have multiple flows?

Yes, there's no limit on the number of flows you can create. Each flow runs independently and costs 1 request per execution.

What happens when I run out of requests?

Your flows will stop executing. Your data and settings are all preserved — simply top up your balance on the Billing page and everything will resume automatically.

Can I use the same service in multiple flows?

Yes. Your saved credentials for a service are shared across all flows, so you only need to enter them once.

Is my data secure?

Your API credentials are stored securely on our servers and are only used to execute your flows. We recommend using API keys with the minimum permissions required for your use case.

How do I cancel?

There is nothing to cancel — Automate Simple has no subscription. Simply stop topping up when you no longer need it. Your account and any remaining request balance stay intact.
